The Grandfather of the DMM carabiner range is still a firm favourite of climbers all over the world. The Truclip was, at the time of its introduction, a radical concept with an ergonomic and cross-sectional shape designed to give maximum strength for minimum weight. A couple of tweaks have happened over the last 14 years but the biner still handles and clips beautifully, whilst being able to withstand an amazing amount of abuse.

Now hot forged from 7000 series aluminium alloy it is even stronger than the original, whilst the fully anodised finish helps reduce corrosion in damp or salty conditions.

The bent gate facilitates easy rope clipping. This biner is normally used on the bottom end of your quickdraw.

A solid 9kN open gate strength means that this is a bomber biner for the price.
